General Information |
The charming Creekside Village subdivision is located on Old Airport Road, and it is conveniently just minutes from the Craven County Regional Airport. This community is also just down the street from Highway 70 making it easily accessible. The beautiful historical downtown of New Bern is less than five miles away. A wonderful afternoon trip, two of the most popular attractions include the Tryon Palace and Caleb Bradham's pharmacy, where Pepsi-Cola was invented. The US Marine base of Cherry Point is a straight shot down Highway 70, and it's less than 15 miles away. Other neighborhoods bordering Creekside Village include Taberna, Berne Glade, Wesmill Pond Estates, and Sellhorn Heights (which is connected to Creekside Village).
Brightly colored vinyl and brick facade exterior homes are hallmarks of this extensive neighborhood. Much like the Sellhorn Heights subdivision, Creekside Village is comprised of one, long street with a few side streets. Classic and traditional style homes are set in a natural setting with tall pine trees framing the neighborhood. A picturesque creek also runs through the middle of the subdivision. Many homes feature spacious, fenced-in backyards or screened-in back porches. Lots in Creekside Village are well-manicured and have tasteful landscaping with small, decorative trees in the yards. Many homes have either beautiful columns or wide front porches in the front.
